Ben is a Marketing Communications graduate from Emerson College in Boston, completing his degree in just three years with a 3.8 GPA, a minor in Esports Communications, and two years on the D3 baseball team.
Ben went on to earn his M.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University's Medill School, graduating in December 2024. During the program he deepened his expertise in brand strategy, data analytics, and integrated campaign development, and served as a graduate marketing consultant for Shopkick, where he delivered a strategic roadmap projected to reduce churn 20% and unlock $500K in new user revenue.
Ben currently works as a Media Analytics Associate at EDO (Entertainment Data Oracle) in New York, where he serves as an analytical partner for top-tier network clients including Disney, FOX, Warner Bros. Discovery, A+E Networks, and Netflix. He delivers measurement and attribution insights using SQL, R, and Python, and built internal AI tooling that reduced internal manual processing time by 50 to 70% across the analyst team, while generating additional external revenue generating reporting, a tool now embedded in EDO’s product offerings.
Earlier in his career, Ben interned at The Mars Agency as a Strategic Planning Intern, building consumer insights and shopper marketing campaigns for clients including Campbell's, Anheuser-Busch, and Sprouts Farmers Market. He also worked at First Pulse Consulting as a Digital Marketing Lead, developing a go-to-market plan for Athes, a social platform for youth athletes, and held a marketing internship at Sparta Commercial Services in New York, where he built social strategy and blog content for CycleChex.
Ben co-founded JBR Sports in 2021, an event management company hosting competitive recreational sports leagues in southeast Michigan. He led all marketing for the venture, including branding, social media, video production, and sponsorship negotiations, securing deals with NBA2K, EA Sports, and the University of Michigan before winding down the company in early 2024.
